The last time the Canucks played the Sharks Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau (both with 14 points in their first 7 games) were scoring at a ridiculous pace and were atop the league scoring. Then the month of February hit and both players cooled off dramatically (as we knew they would) and the Sharks record showed: 10 losses in 12 games. Yea. Marleau has 1 goal and 0 assists in his last 4 games. Thornton has a more respectable 4 assists in his last 4. Both had a goal and an assist in the Sharks' 4-1 win over Vancouver in late January.

The Sharks are under .500 on the road this season. We have a chance!

It would help if the power play would kick in sans Ryan Kesler. How about guys like Booth and Kassian start scoring? How about manna falling from heaven? The Red Sea parting? No? OK then. Fuck it.

YOU MADE MY SHITLIST

David Booth. Again. I don't care if he got an assist last game. Consistently shoots the puck. Consistently does not score. Steve Bernier flashbacks. And we called Bernier "Death To Scoring Chances". Fitting?

My patience is running out.

I LOVE YOU, MAN!

Keith Ballard. He just needs a hug right now. Coach doesn't like him. Hang in there, Ballard.

SCORE-PREDICTING WIZARDS UPDATE

Only Smoboy41 got a point last game for swimming in the Numbskull Sea and picking Iginla to score the winner.
