RT @OctagonHockey: Cory Schneider 6-0 last 6 starts, 0.98GAA and .963% save percentage over the span.
Cory Schneider will get his 7th straight start Saturday night. I know Luongo is showing professionalism about it in front of the media, but this has got to suck for him. Then again, never feel sorry for a multi-millionaire who gets the best seat in the house for Canucks games.
-With the Wild losing on Friday, the Canucks can open up a 4 point lead over them for the NW Division race, as long as we win and the Wild lose to L.A. Saturday night.
-The Oilers are slowly making progress. They are currently only 3 points out of a playoff spot.

A BIT ABOUT THE ENEMY
-The newest Oiler player on the roster is Mike Brown, I believe. I don't know if you remember this, but Mike Brown was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 5th round in 2004. He only played in parts of 2 seasons here before being traded to the Ducks. He has also played for Toronto and was traded to the Oilers on March 4. He is one tough customer. You will notice him immediately out there, smacking guys around. We will most likely see him fighting either Sestito or Pinizzotto. Check out a recent fight he had with Dick Tootoo:
-Remember what it was like when the Canucks were rebuilding? It feels like a long time ago. Here is an Oilers fan's take on their current rebuild status at The Copper and Blue.
SCORE - PREDICTING WIZARDS UPDATE
A lot of point-getters last game, but a special shout out goes to Nathaniel Perlow and team pinnelli, who predicted the correct score, team and GWG scorer (Dank) to score the perfect 3 points.

The last time the Canucks and Oilers met, something magical happened:
The title of this game preview post has been brought to you, once again, by Soundgarden, because the Canucks keep winning:
