Well well well...look at the Oilers' special teams stats above. Now look at the Canucks' special teams. Now bang your head on your desk. Sure, the team is winning anyway, but it won't for long if their special teams is suspect. If I was going to pick a key to the game that would be it. Canucks need to get more pucks on net on the PP. And that won't be easy because look at the Oilers' blocked shots too. It goes hand in hand with their solid PK. Oilers keeping pucks out of their net...who would have thought?
Alex Edler is leading the Canucks in scoring. The f*ck?
The second key is goaltending, and both teams are getting it in Devan Dubnyk and Roberto Luongo.
As Luongo mentioned on Sunday, the Canucks took away a lot of Chicago's speed in the neutral zone in Friday's win over the Hawks and that the same must apply to the speedy Oilers.
A low-scoring Oilers-Canucks game? It's quite possible.

Ben Eager still hasn't played since the Kassquatch beat his skull in:
The Canucks had the Oilers down 2-0 last game, but the Oilers began a comeback late late late in the second period with a beauty goal by Jordan Eberle:
Want the scouting on Luongo: Here is the best way to beat him in a shootout:
But I will be happy to NOT see this one go to a shootout, so Canucks: get your f*cking powerplay going!
