Dan Cloutier to become goaltending consultant for Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks have announced the addition of former NHL goaltender Dan Cloutier to the organization's staff as a goaltending consultant.

The Vancouver Canucks have added former NHL goaltender Dan Cloutier as a goaltending consultant to the organization's staff, according to an announcement made by the team on Tuesday afternoon.

Cloutier, who spent ten years in the NHL as a goaltender for the New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings, spent the 2010-11 season as the goaltending consultant for the Barrie Colts, a junior hockey team in the Ontario hockey League.

In his five years with the Canucks, Cloutier appeared in 208 games with a record of 109-68-23, 14 shutouts and a 2.42 goals against average. He ranks third in franchise history for best goals against average (2.42), third for shutouts (14), fourth for wins (109) and fourth for games played (208).
