That's what beating Detroit and ending their huge home game winning streak record looks like.

Yeah Louuuuuuu! Way to shut the door on those damned Wings! (hat tip to missy for making that gif)

So....oh wait, this is supposed to be a Canucks-Devils preview post? Haha, damn I'm still pumped.

So after disposing of the Wings in a hard-fought game the Canucks jump on a plane and fly to New Jersey somewhere close to midnight eastern time I am sure only to play a red-hot Devils team hours later. Yeah, nobody is poking jokes at the Devils anymore. They are 8-1-1 over their last 10. They have won 4 in a row. They are 4th in the East. They have not played since Tuesday. This will be the Canucks' 5th game in 7 nights. Yeah. How are they going to come out in this one? How are they going to be physically by the 3rd period?

On a separate note, In Lou We Trust is an impressive site. Check it out for more on the Devils, and even a mind-boggling game preview for Friday's game.

Know who this is?

That would be Kirk McLean. In 1987, the Canucks traded Patrik Sundstrom and their 2nd and 4th round picks in the '88 draft to the Devils in exchange for Captain Kirk, Greg Adams, and a 2nd round pick. Gee, wonder who won that deal. By the way that was Lou Lamoriello's first major deal as the Devils' GM.

Anyway,

GO YOU EFFING AMAZING CANUCKS GO!
