If you have TSN2 or NHLN-US, you can watch four solid additions into the Hockey Hall Of Fame tonight at 4:30 PM PST. The electrifying Pavel Bure is only the 5th Russian player to be inducted. Mats Sundin only the second Swede (2nd to his good buddy Borje Salming). Naturally I am stoked about him being honored. Adam Oates was one of the best play makers I have ever seen. Joe Sakic was....Joe Sakic. The epitome of class. Arguably the best player to come out of British Columbia. Stevie Yzerman fans may have something to say about that.
Here are some highlights from the 4 inductees:
OK, that package shafts Bure and Oates a bit so..
That video hardly captures the play making abilities of Oates. Another quiet, classy guy that I always thought was underrated.
Also going into the Hall tonight are play by play great Rick Jeanneret and Globe and Mail columnist Rory MacGregor.
