With the start of the AHL season around the corner, the Wolves' roster has been trimmed. The Canucks have assigned Prab Rai (22 years old, Canucks' 5th round pick in 2008), Steven Anthony (21 years old, Canucks' 7th round pick in 2009), Adam Polasek (21 years old, Canucks' 5th round pick in 2010) and Joe Cannata (22 years old, Canucks' 6th round pick in 2009) to Kalmazoo of the ECHL. The Canucks also assigned Kellan Tochkin (21 years old, not drafted) to CHL's Missouri Mavericks, and the Wolves assigned goalie Mathieu Corbeil (21 years old, Blue Jackets' 4th round pick in 2010) to Missouri.
This trims the Wolves' roster down to 31 players.
