Schroeder Scores Twice As Wolves Beat Admirals

Chicago defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 3-1 in their preseason finale. Eddie Lack played all 60 minutes to earn his 2nd win in as many preseason games. The Wolves scored all 3 of their goals in the 2nd period. Jordan Schroeder scored an even strength and a power play goal. Defenceman Mark Matheson also scored for Chicago. Derek Joslin, the free agent defenceman the Canucks signed this past summer, registered an assist on Schroeder's PP goal, giving him 3 assists total in preseason action. Schroeder tallied 3 goals in the preseason.

The Wolves finished preseason action with a 2-1-0-1 record.

The regular season begins on October 13. Sportsnet will be airing AHL games this fall with no NHL action, so we will be able to catch some Wolves games there. Sweet.
