NM Pools on Yahoo! Fantasy Sports

Do you like playing fantasy hockey?  Would you like to play in an online league with fellow Nucks Misconduct readers?  Well, I've got the thing for you!

Last year, Sean and I organized several NM-only leagues on the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports website.  Yahoo! provides a great set-up for online fantasy competitions that most people find to be straight-forward and fun.  It is now time to set up leagues for this year, and due to the unexpected demand last year, I have organized a new sign-up method to organize this much more nicely.

Below, you will see a link to a Google Documents form I created, where you can enter your information and preferences before Monday September 12th at 11:59pm PST.  When I have collected all the entries, I will organize you all into leagues, and your commissioner will create your league and send you an invite (or league ID and password).

Some more information on settings that will be uniform across the leagues:

• Depending on demand, leagues will have either 16 or 20 participants each.
• Head-to-head leagues will have divisions.
• Depending on size of leagues, each team will have 2 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 4 D, 2 G, 4 Bench, and 1 IR.  Smaller leagues can have more players per team.  I will most likely leave this up to your league commissioner's judgement.
  
• There will be 2-day pending periods for waivers and trades.
• Trade deadline will be March 8th, the same as the NHL trade deadline.
