Hello, Minnesota - Canucks @ Wild Gamethread

New, comments

Enemy territory: Hockey Wilderness
Enemy pro: Josh Harding has a bad track record against us.
Enemy con: Dany Heatley found a different way into our division.

We have to play the Wild again? Really? Cory Schneider is in net for the Canucks tonight, so that Roberto Luongo can face the Blues tomorrow night. Minnesota has Josh Harding in net instead of Niklas Backstrom.
Originally, I had no idea what to do for a gamethread idea. As I was visiting Hockey Wilderness earlier today, someone brought up in their comments that Harding has a career 4.37 GAA and 0.843 SV% against the Canucks, with a record of 0-3-0. Another person replied that it was probably against a different batch of Canuck players. So, to satisfy my newfound curiosity, I went and found the recaps from those 3 games. What I found was interesting enough to go back, change this gamethread, and show the rest of you my findings:

December 12, 2009: 4-3 Canucks win, Henrik Sedin had 3 points, Ryan Kesler had the gamewinner.

November 5, 2009: 5-2 Canucks win, Henrik scores the winner shorthanded (Daniel Sedin was injured), Matt Pettinger and Darcy Hordichuk also scored.

November 21, 2007: 4-2 Canucks win, Markus Naslund with the hat trick.

Wow, Josh has had it hard against us. Can we keep his numbers miserable tonight, or have I just guaranteed him a shutout?

Coconuts go.
