Jonas Andersson Leaving Canucks / Moose To Play In KHL

Jonas Andersson left the KHL last season and signed a 1-way deal with the Predators. The Preds then traded the left winger along with Ryan Parent to the Canucks for Dan Gendur and Shane O'Brien. Andersson played 4 games for the Canucks this season, averaging 6:03 ice time, scoring no points, a +1 and 1 shot on goal. He scored 5 goals and 6 assists in 20 games for the Moose this season, but also suffered 2 concussions.

As the Moose.com article points out, the Canucks will grant Andersson's wishes, but he will be placed on waivers first. He had a 1-way $650,000 contract.
