- The Flyers have now officially signed Nikolai Zherdev to a 1 year contract.
- The Rangers and the Ducks have made a trade: Aaron Voros and Ryan Hillier to Anaheim for Steve Eminger.
- As Twitchy reported in the fanshots, the Sharks have signed RFA Niklas Hjalmarsson to a 4-year $14M offer sheet. The Blackhawks now have 1 week to match the offer.
- As some of you may have heard last night, Shea Weber is the new team captain for the Predators. Also, Jay Feaster has been hired as the new assistant GM for the Flames.
