Update: With Burrows back with the Sedins, Tambellini heads to Manitoba. Interesting choice considering some other options in the bottom six could have been sent instead.

Update: Devan Dubnyk won the battle for the Oilers' backup goalie spot as Jeff Deslauriers was put on waivers yesterday.

Probably even more important than the return of Alexandre Burrows is the Canucks' road record, which needs to be resolved immediately. 0-3-1. The critics and cynics are all over the Canucks on the matter and the team needs to find success away from Rogers Arena. 7 of the next 8 games are on the road against Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Buffalo and Pittsburgh, with the 1 home game in between on Saturday against Detroit. These games, as Yankee pointed out, will define where this team is at.

New Jersey was a walk

in the park because that team is a bunch of coach killers and are in disarray. The Oilers will come at Vancouver much harder and with a better balanced attack. After all, they did just beat Chicago 7-4 on THEIR turf last Friday.

Watch out for:

-Taylor Hall. 2-2-4 in his last 3 games

-Shaun Horcoff- 1-2-3 in his last 3 games

-Jordan Eberle: 2-2-4 in his last 3 games

-Ryan Whitney: 0-3-3 in his last 3 games

-Kurtis Foster: 1-2-3 in his last 2 games

-Magnus Pajaarvi: 1-3-4 in his last 3 games

Smell what the Oils are cookin'? No? Well it will take a great effort to defeat this team, especially on the road, where the Canucks need to find some identity and winning ways.
