Canucks Prospects Camp Kicks Off Tomorrow

New, comments

The long puck-less summer days are just about over. Tomorrow kicks off the prospects camp and admission to the practices at the UBC Thunderbird Arena are free so, if you're in the area, tell your employer you have the swine flu for a few days.

23 players are scheduled to report and, after a few days of practice, will travel to Edmonton on Wednesday for a game against the University of Alberta Golden Bears. On Thursday they'll square off against the Edmonton Oilers Prospects.

Here's the roster of kiddies:

Hodgson is rumored to still be injured so he'll likely see little (if any) ice time, but maybe he'll surprise us. Otherwise most eyes will probably be on Shirokov to see what the former KHLer will be bringing to the table.

You can find out more information on the kids here and there was a fanshot yesterday linking to specific information on Ford, Collins, Pleckaitis and Taylor.
