PERIOD 1

The Bears look to be the dominant team again. They are coming out flying. The Moose took an early undisciplined penalty early and killed off the PP...barely.

Alexandre Bolduc is playing in his first game of the Finals, as he was injured in the last series against Hershey.

Wow, the shots were 6-3 Bears and the Moose looked outmatched. All of a sudden Ray Sawada (Stars property) gets a pass in the slot from Jason Jaffray and one times a shot past Neuvirth. 1-0 Moose. Out of the blue really. That's Sawada's 4th of the playoffs.

Dustin Collins is also back in for the Moose. Who is not playing? Cody Hodgson. Hmm...

Shots after 1: Bears 13 Moose 6. Cory Schneider looks on it today.

PERIOD 2

Michael Grabner just got smoked by Chris Bourque. Wonder if he'll be back. Yep, he shook it off after 3:00. This period looks a lot more even.

I say that and Hershey's Kyle Wilson barrels in from the left side and buries the puck top corner over Schneider. What a shot. Great, now the crowd is back in it. Regardless, the Moose are sticking to their game and outshooting the Bears 6-2 with 13:55 left.

The goalies are shining now. Neuvirth makes a huge glove save on a Moose 3 on 2 and then Schneider just stopped Keith Aucoin on a breakaway.

Less than half way through the 2nd the Bears get into a lot of penalty trouble. Yet the Moose generated nothing. The Bears looked more dangerous being a man down.

Shots in the second: Moose 11 Bears 8

PERIOD 3

Madness. Bodies flying everywhere. Looks like both Dustin Collins and Mark Cullen are injured. Hodgson by the way is a healthy scratch.  The Moose are losing their composure. Now they have taken a too many men on the ice penalty and are down 2 men. Once again, it's all Cory Schneider so far. It could be 5-1 Bears by now if not for him.

Yup, and the Bears make the Moose pay, finally. Keith Aucoin scores. 2-1 Bears. Assists to Giroux and Kronwall.

The shots in the 3rd are 11-1 Bears. Atrocious. The wheels have fallen off.

Since the go ahead goal the Moose are finally penetrating the attacking zone and the Bears look to hold on to a 1 goal lead until Schneider gets pulled.

The Bears got into penalty trouble with less than a minute left. The Moose pulled Schneider for the extra man and put the heat on. They couldn't get it done. They more or less over-passed the puck or had their shots blocked by Bears d-men or Neuvirth. Game over. The Moose are in a heap of trouble. They look like the weaker team all around. The Bears look poised to win their 10th Calder Cup on Tuesday (AHL record).

Shots in the 3rd were 14-12 Moose. Where have Jaffray and Krog gone? The magic has disappeared. Poor Schneider. He is the best Moose player by far.
