Pyatt Inspires Team In His Return

Pyatt_returns_medium It was excellent seeing Taylor Pyatt play again, and play like he hardly missed any time at all. My hat is off to him today. Great job, man.

Alain Vigneault said post game:

"It was a very emotional moment tonight for our group," said AV. "I don’t think anyone can imagine or put into words what Taylor had to go through. For him to go back, leave his family out East and come to his extended family out West. . .

"I think it meant a lot to all the players, coaches and management. I think he played a good game for somebody who’d been out for some time. I’m really proud of the young man. It’s a great thing he did."

Pyatt's physical presence (and hopefully his scoring touch) is most welcome against the Blackhawks.

Pyatt played 12:38 in Game 3, had 4 shots on net and received a 2 minute minor for making Jonny Toews eat the boards.

Post game reactions from Pyatt and his teammates here.
