Jannik Hansen ready to play, but can't draw into lineup

New, comments

From The Province:

The feisty fourth liner has been medically cleared to play but head coach Alain Vigneault doesn't want to mess with what's working.

That's why Jannik Hansen likely won't play Tuesday.

Hansen, who has been out since he broke his pinky finger on Feb. 19, is practising with the team using a plastic guard over the finger.

He's anxious to get back into the lineup, but the Canucks have won nine home games in a row and don't want to change a thing.

I think it's fair to say that even Mason Raymond has played pretty well. While he isn't putting up points, his speed is causing opponents to take penalties, and he is providing excellent energy.
