According to Hockeyexpressen.se, the 38 year old Teemu Selanne will play his 16th season in the NHL, returning to the Ducks. If this is the case, I think the Ducks will have to move more than just Matthieu Schneider's $5.75 million contract, as they are way over the salary cap. Remember, Brian Burke said this recently:
"If the financial circumstances allow us to sign Teemu, we’d love to have him back," Burke said. "He’s a great player and a very well-liked player on our team."What kind of moolah is Teemu going to be asking for?
According to the Finnish Flash, the Ducks are making room for him.
