Other signings for Tuesday

-The Ducks have re-signed Brad May, just so that Earl Sleek would be extra proud. The Ducks now have the Bertuzzi and May "Duo of Death." The deal is for 2 years.

-The Oilers have signed goalie Mathieu Garon to a 2-year contract. Garon will replace the soon-to-be departed Jussi Markannen.

-The Wild have signed Eric Belanger to a 3-year $5.2 million deal today. Belanger was someone I hoped Nonis would get. He is a skilled centerman that could break out in Minny. Belanger fills in the hole left by the departed Todd White.

-Columbus has signed Jiri Novotny to a 2-year deal.

-The Devils' signing of Zubrus for 6 long and plentiful years will cost them $3.4 million per season. Risky.
