This one isn't so vintage. But I talked to a close relative of Dan last week, and there are contract talks happening between the Predators and Hamhuis' agent. This is now contrary to what we heard a couple of weeks ago that there wasn't much conversations at all.Hamhuis is looking for about $1.5 million per season for 3 years. I don't see this being too much of a problem and I think a deal will get done prior to training camp.
With Hamhuis being our hometown hero, we all anticipate him wearing a Predators jersey this season, and look forward to great things from Nashville.
