MALKIN IS HERE

Finally, after all the fiasco, Evgeni Malkin, the 2nd overall pick in 2004 has signed a 3-year deal plus incentives with the Pittsburgh Penguins. It is an identical contract to Alex Ovechkin- $984,200 but could make up to $2.85 if he reaches all his incentives.

As TSN reports, While waiting for his visa, he stayed for three days in a hotel one-half a mile from the Russian Embassy and had to walk past it to go to the American Embassy and get his travel visa to the United States.
Sounds like fun. The rest of the story this summer will be the court case for Malkin and how much the Pens will owe Metallsburg in compensation.
