Demo will rejoin the team on Thursday for practice, but Alain Vigneault thinks it's highly unlikely he'll play against Florida. Damn. I guess that means that Samuelsson (only 1 goal and no assists in his last 5 games) will move back up to Line 2.

Shea Weber cranked Alexander Edler pretty hard. The way Edler skated off the ice I thought he injured his shoulder. That was not the case. Obviously, Mathieu Schneider will slot back into the Canucks lineup.

As the Vancouver Sun puts it, today is the 6 week anniversary of Daniel Sedin's foot injury. Remember the good old days when Daniel said he planned on being back in the 3-week range? Bah! Doctors know best, Dank. He did skate by himself for a bit this morning but that was it. This means that it's unlikely he will play against the Avalanche on Friday. Damn it!

Right MCL sprain, supposedly out 4-6 weeks. My guess is it's more like 6-8. Let's hope Schneider hurries up and gets better.
