Time goes by and still there are questions about the Canucks' handling of prospect Cody Hodgson
Hodgson will miss 2 Brampton Battalion games and possibly more as he is getting a second opinion on his back from doctors, Battalion head coach Stan Butler said today.
"There's obvious stiffness and all the tension comes with it, but it's just my power — it's not there," said Hodgson.
"The quick-twitch muscle needs to regrow and I'm trying to get so I can explode again. That's the most difficult part. I see an opening and I just can't get to it. Once I'm going I'm fine and I have the top-end speed.
But the first two or three steps, there's no pop. The left leg has it, but with the right leg, there's no explosiveness yet."
