Video: Raphael Diaz Scores His First Goal As A Canuck

After a nice cross ice pass from Zack Kassian, Raphael Diaz did something that a lot of Canucks players are not doing lately, especially from the point: he didn't over-think it. He didn't make an extra pass, he shot the puck on net and picked a corner. Not bad at all for a guy playing his first game with his new team.

Diaz had not scored a goal since February 19, 2013, almost a year ago. His 25:26 of ice time was the most he has been given by a coach since December 1, 2011 with the Canadiens. I thought he played pretty well, and that he was instinctively shooting a fair bit. His 4 shots on goal was his highest total this season.

Keep it up Raphael!
