Its time for youth to be pushed into the lineup. We continue to lose hope every year, since The Game 7 SCF loss, and it's time that the Canucks
appeal to our dwindling Stanley Cup
The first Line of Sedin (32) squared and Kassian (22) seems to be a done deal. The second line of Burrows (32), the Beast (28) and Higgins (30) is also a done deal. The third line of Booth (28), Hansen (27) and Schroeder (22) must also happen to give a youthful injection to two "In there prime guys". Now, the fourth line is the most interesting part of the Team.
The line that usually consists of throw ins and goons can now consist of a young (next ones)group of hockey players. As we watch Edmonton fans rub there hands together in anticipation of there next Stanley Cup, based on the preponderance of youth in there lineup. We, Canuck fans, need to have the same anticipation of our next youth movement. Brendan Gaunce
(19) stands 6'2" and 210 lbs. He has great hands, sees the ice well and will only get better with NHL experience. Nicklas Jensen
(20) stands at 6'2" 207 lbs and has a great puck release and stick handling ability. Jensen will also only improve with NHL experience. Dale Weise
(24) stands at 6'2" 210 lbs and is, already, one of the fastest players on the Team.
I for one, can get a lot more excited about having a 4th line of Gaunce, Weise and Jensen rather than having a 4th line of Richardoson (28), Santorelli (27) and Sesito (25).
PS: To all of you, Canucks are too old and there window has closed, group. Based on the above lines we will have an average age of 26 years old.
Go Canucks Go!
