Morning, everyone! The sun is shinning, the birds are out and the bees are trying to have sex with them as is my understanding. It's been a while, I'm a little rusty, a little fatter but ready to do this. Canucks play the Chicago Blackhawks tonight in the last meeting of the regular season between the two teams. I'm sure there's a bunch of other shit that has gone down, so lets get at it!
>> Ben "Dude, I NEVER borrowed a single one of your fucking video games, leave my family alone!" Kuzma has an article where Alex Burrows uses the word dandy, and no, it's not to describe a certain video game borrowing reporter from the Province.
>> The godfather, not grandfather of Shap, Tony Gallagher talks about how even though the Canucks have clinched a playoff spot, there is still much to worry about going into the post season.
>> One more time, Ben Kuzma has the Canucks Hat Trick from over the weekend where he discusses Frank Corrado being recalled, the health of Kevin Bieksa and Ryan O'Byrne. Yeah...I don't know if that's how you spell it, but close enough.
>> J Bowman from the Legion of Blog has a great article on The last time the Toronto Maple Leafs made the playoffs. It's good, it's funny and there is some crazy shit that has since happened since the Leafs last saw a post season game. Friends was still on TV! Blew my mind.
>> Speaking of the Legion of Blog, Wyatt Arndt, the man who owns every single Da Brat album known to man, even her rare and horrible country album has a piece up on the Canucks clinching a playoff spot.
>> Thomas Drance from Canucks Army has a piece up on the recall of Frank Corrado. He also reminds all of us Canuck fans to keep our expectations in check. So, to the guy who wants him to catch a puck in his teeth, spit it out, skate it down the ice and score a goal on his first shot, first shift...maybe curb that one for a little while.
That's all this morning from the Canucks, so far anyways. Lets have a look at what those other assholes are up to.
The Other Guys:
>> Shots fired by Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews, or does the Presidents Trophy really not mean sweet fuck all to the teams who win it?
>> While the Toronto Maple Leafs are gearing up for their first playoff appearance since the invention of the wheel, the Edmonton Oilers are once again out of the playoff picture. For those of you counting this makes the seventh straight season.
There isn't much going on right now. I will update later today when more happenings....uhh, happen? Anyways. Thanks for reading and being patient with me. It's been an eventful start to 2013, but I'm going to keep on keeping on with this and swearing twice as much for you all. Thanks again!
