There is so much over analysis and commentary about how the Nucks played CoHo only for "soft" minutes to inflate his trade value before trading him for Kassian. I cringe every time I read one of these overblown articles. Fact is that talent needs time, playing time, to emerge. CoHo is playing important minutes for the Sabres, on the PP, PK, and playing well - he did the same thing in Juniors. This is no surprise and when you draft the kid that was captain of Team Canada you know that you are getting a dedicated and hard working player. Vigneault needs to let the kids play - every player does not come right into the NHL and light it up immediately, took the Sedins a long time to get acclimated.
Trading CoHo will haunt Vigneault b/c the perception is that he was traded b/c the coach had no use for him. A silly and short sighted decision that will end his reign in Vancouver and make the organization look silly for years to come.
