That was a miserable game to end the road trip. Oh well. The Canucks are back home now, and get a nice break following tonight's game against the Coyotes.
I don't really have much to say about tonight's game, but I do want to make a comparison. You see, back in January when Zack Kassian was being a beast, Yankee posted this buzz post with the Kassassinator being the hot topic, using the picture I am reusing for this gamethread. If you look closely, you'll notice that Zack looks like our favourite howler monkey, ex-Canuck Raffi Torres. By the way, we still need to put Zack into the howler monkey tree:
We could probably get Maxim Lapierre into there as well, I believe he's made the howler monkey face a few times as well.
Anyways, tonight we get a howler monkey battle, with Raffi Torres visiting Vancouver with his Phoenix team. Word is that we'll have Cory Schneider in net, opposite Mike Smith.
