Politics, it has been said, makes for strange bedfellows.
Being in a hockey pool makes for some interesting between-the-sheets calisthenics as well, as most of us well know: the final day of last week's competition had me rooting for the Rangers (a team I loathe) and against the Canucks (my guys for over 30 years). My wishes, alas, came true, giving me a record of 8-2-3 in my fight to regain some kind of relevance in league standings.
I'm also mildly annoyed that it came at the expense of the second best named team in the league. Sorry, ?vistlove; Amazing SchneiderMan takes this year's title, even if he did beat me to Cammalleri by a couple of hours...
In Division 1, Zanstorm loses ground (call it a return to the mean) as AmeriCAN Win It All gained 13 points on them;
Division 2 has the three-way battle for top spot stay tight, though Beantown Canuck got an unpleasant surprise call, and is going to have to set a final roster right soon;
marcness52 increased his lead in Division 3 after BW got brutalized. Maybe someone can arrange to slide a few spare roster moves Beantown's way in exchange for certain... "favours" acted out against the division leaders?
And Lafayette's_Post94 lost ground in the league's tightest division, as both HankYouVeryMuch and Quicker Pickers had solid weeks, something they and Booth's Kills are looking to change this week.
So there's the update, and I hope everyone got their weekly changes in on time for today's early starts! What's the worst time you've had so far rooting for someone on your fantasy teams?
