Budweiser sent me a free Goal Light (very quickly I might add) as long as I gave it a promotion on the site.

So I said: What the heck?

Really simple to set up. You need a wireless router, a smart phone / Android so that you can download the App (free) and get the smart card that hooks into the unit to recognize your router. Set it up in minutes. The app lets you choose which team you want to sync it to.

Then I stuck it by my TV set and watched the Canucks-Wild game tonight. When Kevin Bieksa made it 1-0 there was a short delay....and then the light went on and the horn sounded. Check it out:

Yea, that's a great way to scare the shit out of your kids. When I was testing the unit earlier I scared the crap out of my oldest son. He cried.

The light is super bright and I only had the volume on about 25%. It's a cool concept. If you have $150 bucks kicking around and you want to make your living room / man cave way cooler, I recommend this.
