We've Taken The Plunge - 2012 Olympics Day 3 Open Thread

Yesterday was the real start of events for many of the sports at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Some medals have already been awarded, with the first gold medal going to Yi Siling of China for air rifle. Swimming was a big highlight of the day, with American Ryan Lochte taking home the gold for men's 400m IM and Michael Phelps finishing that race in 4th. Fencing - Men's Individual Sabre (medal matches at 10:50am)

Gymnastics - Artistic - Women's Qualification

Handball - Men's Handball

(Field) Hockey - Women's Hockey

Judo - Men's 66kg (medal rounds start at 6:28am), Women's 52kg (medal rounds start at 6:00am)

Rowing - Men's Double Sculls, Men's Lightweight Four, Men's Single Sculls, Women's Single Sculls, Women's Lightweight Double Sculls, Men's Lightweight Double Sculls, Women's Eight
