Kid seems like a good player, but, not necessarily the big, minute munching physical D-man they don't have right now. Also, what is with this process? Pick a team, why the dog and pony show?

Also, is he a better prospect than Kevin Connauton? If Salo signs, Ballard gets traded and Connauton is brought up, do we need this kid? I can't imagine that he is better right now than Ballard. Maybe sign Garrison, a guy who you know what you will get, even if you are overpaying for him - much lower bust potential and he wants to be here - nowhere else!

I saw him play at Wisconsin and he was a pretty good, player, not as good as McDonaugh I don't think, but pretty good still.
