WTF
An absolute embarrassing performance by the Canucks in Game 1. The parade to the P-Box, the giveaways, the general lack of intensity, the theatrics...any goof in an Orca jersey who plays D or forward OWES Roberto Luongo a better effort than that. They owe it to themselves. They preached "lessons learned from last year's playoff run" before the series started and then laid a massive egg.
WTF to the canucks' power play, which has been atrocious for several games now.
WTF to Line 2. I don't even have to say what I think here. Yeah I do. The Kings' top 6 forwards look deadly. The Canucks need to match that or die. Well, unless Line 3 starts putting up points again.
A big WTF to Mike Richards and the Kings who played a solid game. Me no likey.
Willie. Willie Willie Willie....stop that. I still have your Canucks jersey. You are hurting my feelings.
PRAISE
Despite all the fails by the Canucks in Game 1 they were never out of it until the empty net goal to make it 4-2. That says something. That says that Roberto Luongo was an absolute beast and kept them in it. That makes me confident that the Canucks can clean up their act and win Game 2.
Praise be to the Canucks final power play opportunity. It was a firing squad. It looked so much more effective with quick puck movement and more shots. I have a feeling that it is about to be remedied. Lately the Canucks have over-passed when up a man. Shoot it! Is a defender gonna block it? Let him! It's gonna hurt him! Maybe he won't block the next one. Small victories.
