Keep calm and carry on; the rise of Ryan Kesler.

Stay connected for news and updates

It seems as if there is a lot of panic these days about the condition of brother Danny. Quit it. No matter what we say or do or speculate, there isn't a damn thing we can do about it now. Do I want him back asap? Hell yeahs. As soon as he is ready, he'll be back.

Here is why I'm not to worried about it.

Ryan Kesler was the best forward in the playoffs last year. No if ands, or buts. In the first round he absolutely silenced Toews for 6 and 15/16th games. Nashville and their stud D pair couldn't stop him. He was great in the third round and he gutted out a nasty injury to be the best forward in the finals too. If marchand doesn't tomahawk slash his arm in the first with the puck in the slot in game 7, that's in the back of the net and the Canucks can tighten things down and sip from the Cup.

With all the Drama surrounding Lu/Schnides and the Torres/Seabrook hit to the legal in the letter of the law (re: non blindside headshots were legal last season until Rome does it and the media bullies the NHL into a terrible suspension call) hit by Romer; this is all forgotten.

He's been by far the best forward of late, and Booth/Higgy are both better because of it too. The guy would rather die then lose. If (knock on wood) we do it this year, he'll be holding the Conn Smyth. With or without Danny.

Sorry for no fancy you tube stuff. I'm on my f'in lunch break (in Alberta). That's why this post isn't a little longer and more detailed. Can we swear on here?

All that said, get well quick Danny, but your life is more important then hockey. The quicker we can finish guys off with you, the less chance of guys getting hurt.

AND GET THE F OFF LU'S BACK. HELP YOUR TEAM, DON'T HURT IT.
