Chris Higgins will make his official return against the Avalanche on Wednesday and may play on line 3 with Maxim Lapierre and Jannik Hansen. So that makes Mike Duco the odd man out. He was re-assigned to Chicago today. An excellent job by him during his brief stint. Dale Weise took a puck off the beak today at practice and the beak is broken. Given the way Byron Bitz has been playing it's going to be tough for Weise to crack the lineup anyway.
The Province also reports that Roberto Luongo will start against Colorado. There is no further update on Keith Ballard.
