Ebbett has a broken collarbone and is out indefinitely. #canucks will call up a forward. Salo upper body injury and will be re-evaluated.
Via Dan Murphy's Twitter feed. Pick your call up from Chicago. Bitz? Sweatt? Mancari? Oh please not Mancari, haha. Here is the vid of Marchand clipping Salo. What did Bieksa say about the low hit? "We play hard, but we are a disciplined team," Bieksa said. "That’s what separates us from them. They obviously play hard, but they tend to do stupid things. The Marchand hit was a pretty stupid thing and I’m sure he’ll be getting a phone call for that one. There is no reason for that. But we made them pay for that. We got to score two goals on that power play and that’s the game. He’s got to live with that."

Not Mancari?
The Stanchion would be most displeased with you, haha.
Work hard, play harder, rest easy.
I’m kinda trolling him. But really, Mancari wasn’t all that impressive last time up.

also, if Rome isn't ready after next game
I’d think Tanev is getting a call up
me too. And that’s what will happen

reward duco for his hatty
we need some more of his energy in the bottom 6
Everytime I meet a new person, I figure out how I’m gonna fight them

I have been wanting to see Duco here all season long. I thought he even earned a spot in preseason. But that’s just my 2 cents

“We play hard, but we are a disciplined team,”
Spearing someone in the throat is definitely disciplined. So is 6 guys jumping one.
Kick his ass, Seabass!
And the Bruins are an honest team? Save it.
Go drown your tears over at SCOC junior.

buying in
“but…Haggerty said so, and Thornton has valor!”
I love the “6 guys” thing though. Like that does not happen the other way in every damn game the Bruins play. And when it happened, it was for like a second or two.
Its called coming to the defense of a teammate. Thornton used whatever he could to punch Burrows in the head. There was no “spear”. But by all means, go with Hackerty.
Hell Yank, sending him to SCOC might help, but I bet he excels on the NESN threads too!

No seabass comment today? Shocking. “fans” like you are what makes teams shallow and pathetic.

Salo out with concussion
As per TSN: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=384561
Vancouver Canucks defenceman Sami Salo has a concussion after he took a low-bridge hit from Brad Marchand during Saturday’s game in Boston. Canucks general manager Mike Gillis delivered the news Sunday. Marchand was assessed a clipping major and game misconduct for the hit that flipped Salo over in the Boston zone late in the second period.
