Could be shoulder or even concussion… he hit the back of his head on the ice on the way down. Could be back, or even lower body, he was limping bambi-legs style.

the only thing I take from this game is that the Bruins are not an unbeatable juggernaut as has been implied in the media lately. Yeah the PP helped us. But I don’t think anyone can say the Bruins didn’t show up to play.

you just don’t see clipping that often these days.. probably due to players all being big fuckers now (excluding Les Schtroumpfs The Habs from this obviously). I don’t, honestly think Marchand deliberately did it.. but he did it and got the appropriate sanction. Not sure if BS will have something to say about it but it could happen…

That strategy is dependent on the refs calling the game the way they should though.
And there’s no guarantee of that these days. The Broons think it’s the 1970’s and the refs often just go along with that.
The NHL needs to grow some balls and decide if they want to get dangerous cheapshots out of the game or not.

And I’m having some counting problems. I saw that you went “4 for 11” (re: NHL.com) and decided to count through that mess of penalties (seriously wish I’d seen the game now – sounds like all kind of awesome and there’s now a few less smirks on boston fans’ faces). Point is, I definitely didn’t count 11 power plays for you guys, I count 7.
So someone who actually saw the game, clear it up for me? Who sucks at counting, me or the guys at NHL.com? (or both)?
Either way, good on you guys. Bruins fans have been insufferable this season.

A healthy Canucks team on the power play is all that separates the Bruins ‘toughness’ from becoming ‘poor discipline.’
