Tonight, we get to see another rookie. Okay, maybe not much of a rookie, Chris Tanev played 29 regular season games last season, plus 5 playoff games. And now, he rejoins the team. Although his regular partner last year was Keith Ballard, he was reported to have been paired up with Alexander Edler during practices this week. If that young pair sticks together, watch for a whole new batch of puckbunnies going nuts for our blue-line men. (Back off ladies, I want them.) How fitting that Chris returns as the Canucks host the Sharks in a Saturday afternoon matinee, since he played in Games 4 and 5 against them last year.
Coconuts go.
(Disclaimer: I'm working today, so if it turns out that he was scratched, I will be annoyed about my gamethread idea being ruined at the last minute.)

Buuuttt…apart from a 12-11 edge on faceoffs ( Lappy 3 of 3, Manny ( it says 0 for 3, but I saw him win at least one in his own end!)…the 12-5 shots is more a telling stat that period.

Struggled at first when he was traded to us, heated up just before he was kneed….just got back from that injury.

Yeah, actually I disagreed with part of Kent’s post today (which doesn’t happen often) where he said Booth needed to pick it up a bit (though he gave him a pass for just coming back). I felt that no pass was needed – before today he had a goal in his first 2 games back and before he was injured he had a good point streak going :)

lol I was cleaning a flooded basement yesterday
pipe broke – dad came to town and fixed it today and said it actually wasn’t due to the -25 to -30 we had – and I caught it about 5 mins after it started so I only had about a cm of water in 2 rooms

not here :) (I live in Kamloops in the interior) but the high for a couple days was -25 add the wind chill factor in and it was COLD! but supposed to be around 0 today :)
we did get about 15cm of snow in the last 7 days or so

Panago, and any other so called 2 for 1 pizza sucks. Fake cheese, skimpy toppings and let’s face it, how can any pizza that costs half as much as a 1 for 1 pizza be any better than the 1 for 1. I made a high quality pizza at Cultus for 24 years. We used the highest butterfat content mozzarella you could buy. We used tomato sauce shipped from California. We prepped our veggie topping for same day use. We mixed our dough on a daily basis and used a proofer before baking to assure that the dough had risen 4 or 5 times before cooking, where it rose yet another time. We received accolades and awards for our pizza, but we didn’t sell anywhere near the volume that Panagopoulus sold because paying half price on a pizza somehow makes it taste all that much better.

lol I am aware that there are better pizza’s out there, but where I live (and most people not in a place like Van) the options are limited.
My options are Panago, Pizza Hut, Dominos, BPs or Papa Murphy’s (which I haven’t tried yet b/c generally if I am ordering pizza it’s delivery). So, given those options I think most would agree that Panago is the best choice (except maybe the perogi pizza at BPs lol)

lol maybe better hygiene but I definitely was dying for a shower after the disgusting water I had to clean up in my basement yesterday lol
of course the room that flooded with 1-2cm of water was the bathroom with the cat boxes – and of course I was away for 3 days and the cats had spilled litter and 3 or 4 little poops onto the floor – not a big deal when dry but under a bunch of water…..YUCK!
