Unreal. The Sharks have not played a hockey game since December 28, the night they lost 3-2 in deja-vu overtime to the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have played the Ducks and Kings since then. So the jackass Sharks come into GM Place well rested. The Canucks will now play their 5th game in 8 nights. I guess we can all agree that they took much of the night off against the Kings on Saturday though. These Van-SJ games
are getting intense aren't they? A fantastic rivalry is happening that won't soon go away. After tomorrow's game, these 2 teams will only see each other one more time in the regular season: Saturday, January 21. The Sharks are running out of time for revenge in the scoreboard. REJECTED!

I see a lot of these games that the Canucks lose is because they don’t “show up to the game”. This was happening more so at the beginning of the season that lately but surely all athletes know they need to show up and play. That not trying is not going to cut it. So why does that always seem to be the reason for their loses?

The Kings were really good at getting sticks into passing and shooting lanes. I think the Kings just played an excellent game. It could’ve been fatigue as well. It was their third game in 4 nights.

Or we’re the Canucks trying too hard to fit passes and shots into tight windows rather than doing what they usually do so well, which is taking advantage of what the opposition gives them. Finding the weakness in a way most teams can’t.
