The Canadian press is reporting that the Canucks have released Manny Legace. Coach AV is quoted in the article as saying he did a good job and that this should hopefully give him a chance to land somewhere else in the league this year. Possibly a team requiring a veteren backup goalie. One would think that Manny didn't really have a good chance of making the Canucks with our current depth is goal of Luongo, Schneider, & Lack.

Hopefully his effort at the Canucks camp will give him a shot elsewhere.
