Hi there, Nucks Misconduct and internet tubes folk. Its that time again, when the city shuts down and the streets run red with wine. The Canucks are back and they are playing their first regular season game on Oct 6th against the Crosby-less Penguins, here in Vancouver at General Motors Place Rogers Arena. A couple of us alcoholics die hards here at Nucks Misconduct have been eagerly awaiting the return of hockey and we thought there was no better way to usher in the return of hockey than to drink and watch hockey along with internet friends until we are hospitalized or are rendered blind!

If you're worried about drinking with several serial killers drunk Canucks fans, then worry not, we have done this before last year in the playoffs and to great success!

Location: St. Augustine's (presumably. I'd be open to suggestions of other places). 2360 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5N 4B7, Canada. Their phone number is 604-569-1911. For those of you who are looking at taking the Skytrain to the pub, just take the train to Commercial-Broadway Station, walk Northbound (you'll be walking 'up' towards a slight incline) and you should see St. Augustine's on your right.

Time: I am booking that day and the day after off work so I can head down there early and recover from my inevitable hangover in peace. So I'll probably be down there at 6 pm-ish to get a good place for us. Come down early if you'd like, but if you'd like us to save you a seat let me know ahead of time (2-3 days) whether you're coming or not. I'll probably already be drunk by the time you show up.

I like these meetups because its an opportunity for us blog folks to meet each other and watch hockey in real life instead of in gamethreads (don't get me wrong, I love gamethreads).
