The AHL announced today that they are realigning their league into 6 divisions of 5 teams. They will also take on a playoff format mirroring what the NHL does now. Having the Manitoba Moose as our affiliate last year, we were in a large "North" division with the Barons (Oilers), Heat (Flames), Marlies (Leafs), Bulldogs (Canadiens) and other teams. This year, with the Chicago Wolves as our new affiliate, our new division members are the Milwaukee Admirals (Predators), Peoria Rivermen (Blues), Rockford Icehogs (Blackhawks) and Charlotte Checkers (Hurricanes).
