Hansen, who was awarded a salary of $825,000 last summer when the team took him to arbitration, is coming off his best NHL season and should be in position to cash in big on a new deal. Hansen, 25, was a big part of the Canucks’ third line that was very good in the regular season and excellent in the playoffs.
