Update: Via Farhan Lalji the deal is five years, $4.6 million and a NTC. If true, he's the highest paid D man on the team.

Update: [h/t Semi Colon] The Score suggests it's five years at $4.2 per.

Frustrating GMs everywhere who were ready to blindly open their treasure chests on July 1st, the chatter we've heard since last week turns out to be true with the news this morning that Juice has indeed re-signed.

Final terms haven't been released yet but Kypreos was batting around 4.7M per this weekend which would make him the highest paid D man on the team. I suspect the number will come down to the $4-4.25 range, depending on the years.

Whatever it is, Bieksa/Hamhuis will remain the top pairing heading into next season. The Ehrhoff and Salo decisions are up next.

More to come.
