My turn to chime in...My buddy jumped out of his chair, screaming in utter jubilation. It took me about 10 seconds to do the same. I was confused as to what had just happened. I knew the puck went into the net. I was just wondering why the refs were huddling. How did that puck go in? Was it going to be disallowed? The moment I saw the paper confetti falling from above and Alain Vigneault shaking hands with Todd McLellan out of the chair I jumped! Suddenly it didn't matter as much how the puck went in. With the festivities already underway there was no way this goal was going to be called back. Just like Brett Hull scoring the 1999 Cup-winning goal for Dallas while his foot was in the crease. That being said I just had to see the replay. Wow. That was or is one of the most insane series clinching goals I have ever seen!
We had won. It's amazing that I can still recall exactly what had gone through my mind at that moment. The rest of the night was a bunch of screaming and yelling. Cars were parading up and down Main Street here in Smithers. Less than I expected but no matter. The joy was in the air. If anybody out there was in bed by 10 I sincerely don't apologize for all the noise I made.
The hoarse throat and uneasy hangover feeling was worth it today. I had just witnessed some Canucks history. I watched the 1982 and 1994 runs. Sure, I was a big Leafs fan growing up but I got to know the Canucks starting in that sweet run of '82. I was only 8 years old. I have witnessed and endured the highs and lows of this team ever since. Savor these Canuck moments! That's all I gotta say about that to newer Canuck fans. This feels so damned good! The rest can be summed up in video!

What The Rog sounded like (fan cam), gives me chills!
So awesome. How about the view from the other side of the arena?
I thought this was a classy touch by the players:
