This is my first fanpost ever, so please forgive me for linking issues. I'll try to do my best.
So, as a season ticket holder, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go with my dad to tonight's game - him and my brother went to Game 1. Obviously, I was pretty pumped up about it, and I decided to take some pictures to illustrate what the atmosphere was like. There's really nothing like the atmosphere of a playoff game. After attending last year's playoffs against Chicago, I was truly shocked by the atmosphere of the crowd - there were no words to describe it other than electric. According to some tacky iPad app they used to measure noise, it was 103 dB - which, in perspective, is louder than a jackhammer from 1 meter away. But I digress. On to the pictures.
This is the view from our seats. Row 10, Section 122. Parked right behind Luongo for 2 periods and behind Crawford for the 2nd.
More pre-game warmup.
Drop the puck! Taken right before the opening faceoff.
Action shot from the 1st period.
Action shot #2 from the first period.
Beginning of the 2nd period. Around this time, the crowd starts harping on Crawford...
Right before action commences. Better picture.
PK time!
PP in which Eddie scored. What a great view to see it from!
3rd period action shot...this is where things began to get hectic.
We win!
Someone doesn't belong here...
Hope you guys enjoyed the photos. They were taken with my iPhone, and I'm sort of surprised that the quality turned out alright. Go Canucks Go!
