The Canucks will pull off a stinker once in a while like the last game against the Habs. They nearly managed a comeback even with a mediocre and inconsistent effort. Now comes a Blues team that cannot string together enough wins to get into a playoff position. They are 5 points out and not quitting yet. I really like their additions of Stewart and Shattenkirk, who have combined for 6 points in their first 3 games as Blues. Impressive. But 2 of those 3 games have been losses.
The last game Jaroslav Halak played was February 14 against the Canucks. A win. He injured his hand. The Blues are using a Ty Conklin / Ben Bishop combo now. Bishop is a whopping 6'7"!
Anyways, the Blues suck on the road. The Canucks are great at home. Expect a much improved effort from our boys in this one. Oh, and line 2 has to get their shit together. The Canucks have not lost 2 straight in regulation since..well since Yankee and I were in Vancouver in late November. How f*cked up is that?
-Update: Everything you need to know about Pass It To Bulis writer Harrison Mooney's defeat over Tanner Glass in a charity Scrabble match. Well done Harrison, and well done all for the charity event!
-Alex Steen has 4 goals and 1 assist in 3 games against the Canucks this season. FFS!
-Au contraire, Chris Stewart only has 1 assist in 4 games vs Van this season.
-The Sedins have a paltry 2 points combined in 3 games vs the Blues this season.
-Looks like the Canuck with the most goals against the Blues is Jannik Hansen with 2.
