OT: Not sure where else to say this but it just came to me. It’s funny how everyone says we play in the weakest division and we get a whole bunch of easy points.
What about Philly? They play in the East. How many garbage teams do they play against for easy points. If the Canucks were in the East we’d be sitting on 100 points right now. Philly, Boston, and maybe Pittsburgh are the only teams in the East that I think actually have a chance to beat us. And not even Pittsburgh with their 2 stars out. Anyways, just felt like ranting about that.

I admit our division is a bit soft, but our conference is ridiculous.
Heck, even Tampa can implode sometimes and serve up points….does their defense suck or something? Their losses aren’t 3-1 or 3-2’s like ours, more like 6-2, 5-1…..
The weak-division argument doesn’t go nearly as far as it used to now that there are only 6 divisional meetings as opposed to 4 games against the other 10 western conference teams. How many extra points do we really pick-up (if you average it out) with those extra 8 games? Probably less than 5 points.

I appreciate how open Cory is, he was willing to talk about anything they asked, and didn’t give any vague answers. And PITB question was awesome.
OT question: did anyone else notice that the new Gatorade commercial recreates the ‘Golden Goal’? just saw it this morning and thought it was pretty cool.

Its actually incorrect because in the commercial the player one-times it and scores, and in the real Golden Goal, Crosby controls the puck first then shoots five hole.
