Larry Tanenbaum to remain Governor and 25% stakeholder.
Interesting to see how this is going to affect the way sports are broadcast in Canada.
Does this open up the floor for increased competition and incredible up-to-the-second updates for the Maple Leafs? Or is it a stifling deal that squashes competition?
In my humble opinion, this move will be terrific for Leafs fans and won't change the lives of anyone else. We now have the two biggest Telcos in Canada owning the content, distribution and mediums for one of the largest sports assets in the world. The coverage on them in the GTA is going to be absurd.
