Breaking crappy news (as of 6:00 tonight: Chris Higgins will not play Tuesday against the Avalanche due to a staph infection in his foot. Alain Vigneault was saying today that Higgins missed 5 or 6 games last season in Florida with the same problem, mostly because the docs there had a hard time diagnosing just what the heck it was. Tough loss for the Canucks. So, they called up Victor Oreskovich today to fill in on the 4th line while we can assume that Mason Raymond is heading to the 2nd line with Kesler and Booth and Manny Money moving up to line 3.

LeftWingLock is a fantasy website that is completely free. I don’t know about now, but two 1-2 years ago, DailyFaceoff wasn’t. They charged something like $15-20 annually.
Projecting or finding sources for starting lines/goalies is a lot of work. There’s twitter, blogs, etc. Any information on a fantasy hockey website is always a second-hand source, but it’s not easy work.
DailyFaceoff decided to cut that corner in the past by being a third-hand source. They were taking information directly from LWL:

By the way, I do encourage people to check out LeftWingLock’s lineups because there’s actually a percentage of how frequently the lines were used by AV during the last game, or over a 3-game average, etc.

as for Reps, tell me I am wrong, but I do think he has been involved with the disciplinary process in the past. Tootoo is about as notorious though.
Shanny played a little like Looch, and Blake was a hard rock as well. I tend to think after contemplating it, they were predisposed to believe his “just looked up and he was there boss” BS. The Bruins getting another break was sadly not that shocking any more. I can only imagine Jeremy Jacobs has something very smelly over on Count Gary.
But as for being the first, first in a while. Miller was very far out of his net…as a few others you can easily find on Youtube are as well.
If you hit a goalie outside the crease behind the net, or in the crease, its a penalty. We all saw the video so many times at so many speeds, but maybe in that hulking brute, it just took longer for the synapse to fire when he looked up. Or more likely he meant to do it.

but because he lobbed about 300 easy to hit pitches right into the breadbasket and Lambert missed them all. It was an embarassment. Look, u know I hate lambert, but I really REALLY wanted him to win this, specially after all the twitter hype when it was on. But he didn’t. He jerked off when he could have made some very impactful and EASY points that Steigerwald kept giving him openings for. In the end, nobody won this battle, ESPECIALLY not hockey’s image in the eyes of non-hockey fans.

Steigerwald is a total tool blabbering on and on and on
Lambert had so many opportunities to just bury the fucker, but sounded so flat footed. Getting on the air exposed Steigerwald for the tool he was, but Lambert sounded a bit lost.
